While the hometown of the band, which is situated between Punk n Roll, Horrorpunk and Psychobilly, seems to be going downhill more and more, the KOFFIN KATS have been constantly pushing the accelerator pedal through the floor panel of their tour bus for 10 years now - as if there were no tomorrow. With up to 250 shows a year, they are definitely one of the hardest working bands on this planet and whoever has ever seen a show knows what the word sweaty really means.

Vic Victor (Vocals / Double Bass), Ez Ian (Guitar / Vocals) and Eric E Ball Walls (Drums / Backing Vocals) seem to be able to handle their instruments blindly, like to swap them with each other on stage and present the audience a Rock n Roll show as it should be: fast, loud and wild. With Born Of The Motor they now present their seventh studio album - and the very individual mix of Psychobilly and Punk n Roll, which gets a distinct touch of horror punk especially by VIC's extraordinary and dark voice, shines on songs like Under A Blue Sky , Giving Blood or This Heart (Stays On Ice) like rarely before.

The Koffin Kats can not only transport the exuberant joy of their live shows to the recording, they also provide variety and a lot of atmosphere. Recorded at Stu Stu Studios in Livonia, Michigan and mastered by Adam Ayan (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Rolling Stones ).
