Birds of Passage is the wonderful album of the father of Russian jazz: "Alexej Kanunnicov". He began his career as a trombonist in the Josef Vainstain Big Band, the most famous band in Russia at the time. He has now been on stage for over 50 years and is an international star. He tours regularly with his band. The band was founded in 1990 and has already performed in many countries such as Finland, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden and the USA.
