Two Hearts in May by Swedish-born artist Bibi Johns brings together her songs from the period 1955 to 1957. Bibi Johns brought new momentum or - as they said at the time - 'pep' to post-war Germany in the early fifties. Her songs were daytime hits for quick use and entertaining. She also became known as a film actress; the films in which she took part gave rise to many of the titles that can be heard here, including the very successful songs Im Hafen unserer Träume (In the Port of Our Dreams) and Mal Regen und mal Sonnenschein (Sometimes Rain and Sometimes Sunshine).
