The first new blues release on the Arhoolie label in 27 years. Producer Chris Strachwitz founded the label more than 50 years ago. He was amazing by the performance of these talented artists, playing their own blend of ‘old school blues’, deeply rooted in the music from the Delta, the North Hills, and the sounds of Chicago. Mostly covers, jug band, and string band music. Fine 2nd album.
