TERRY “HARMONICA” BEAN is a well-known blues artist from Pontotoc, Mississippi. Endowed with an innate talent for music, Bean discovered his love for the blues at a young age and has been a master of the harmonica ever since.
One of 24 siblings born and raised in Pontotoc, Terry has a deep connection to his local heritage and cares for the land left to him by his father. On that land, Terry built a blues museum that documents his own worldwide travels and houses hundreds of artifacts of significant but overlooked music history.
Bean grew up in the heart of the Mississippi Hill Country and was initiated into the rich musical culture of the region by his father and grandfather, who were both blues musicians themselves.
With his exceptional harmonica skills, stirring vocals and captivating stage presence, he carries the torch of Hill Country blues, preserving its rich heritage while adding his own personal touch to the genre.
