Produced by Stefan Boman (The Hellacopters) at Stockholm's Park Studios and perfectly staged by Stefan Boman (The Hellacopters), the playful sexttet on 'Diggin' The Scene' presents 10 top-class tracks and a cool relaxed mix of rockabilly, rock 'n' roll, blues and country, including the current single 'Mercy Mercy'. Musically supported on this longplayer were the two guitarists Esa Pulliainen (Agents) and Jo Buddy as well as the singer Matte Lagerwall (The Boppers).

Fatboy

Gegründet in Schweden in den späten Siebzigerjahren als Begleitband anderer Künstler brauchte es bis in das Jahr 2004, als Fatboy ihren ureigenen Stil von progressivem Rockabilly auf ihre erste Tonträger-Veröffentlichung bannten.

Fatboy benennen eine reichhaltige Mixtur von musikalischen Einflüssen der Band, von Faron Young, Stray Cats, Johnny Cash, Elvis und Roy Orbison, zu The Smiths, Tom Waits und The Cramps. Die Träume der 'Fifties', Country und Rockabilly Musik ist gleichwertig mit Chart-trächtigem Pop und Indie Rock, mit geschmackvollen Elementen der griechischen Bouzouki Musik und gar den Klängen der Klezmer die langjährige Herausforderung der Band! Dies ist nicht Retro, dies ist nicht Vintage, dies ist fantastisch, dies ist Fatboy!
