Fatboy benennen eine reichhaltige Mixtur von musikalischen Einflüssen der Band, von Faron Young, Stray Cats, Johnny Cash, Elvis und Roy Orbison, zu The Smiths, Tom Waits und The Cramps. Die Träume der 'Fifties', Country und Rockabilly Musik ist gleichwertig mit Chart-trächtigem Pop und Indie Rock, mit geschmackvollen Elementen der griechischen Bouzouki Musik und gar den Klängen der Klezmer die langjährige Herausforderung der Band! Dies ist nicht Retro, dies ist nicht Vintage, dies ist fantastisch, dies ist Fatboy!

Beste Country/Rockabilly/Punk Band Schwedens

Wer wie ich das Glück hatte, diese fantatsische Band bei einem ihrer seltenen Auftritte ausserhalb von Schweden live zu erleben, wird mir zustimmen: auf dem gesamten europäischen Kontinent - und vermutlich auch in Amerika - gibt es keine Combo dieser Qualität. Angefangen beim Songwriting. Fast jeder Song besitzt Ohrwurm-Qualtät. Dann die Spielstärke. Individuell hervorragende Musiker, kompakter sicherer und verwobenener Bandsound. Eine für Vinyl perfekte Produktion mit sattem doch nicht zu glatt poliertem Sound - Mann, habe ich mich über diese LP gefreut! Ist wohl eine Art 'Best Of' aus den letzten Alben der Band. Warte schon sehnsüchtig auf den Nachfolger!!
