Lowdown Ways is the new album of the New York trio Daddy Long Legs. Produced by Jimmy Sutton (JD McPherson, Pokey LaFarge) in the Hi-Style Studios, Lowdown Ways shows a natural development for Daddy Long Legs. Songs like 'Pink Lemonade' and 'Mornin' Noon & Nite' show the characteristic Lo-Fi sound of the band's contemporary blues, mixed with edges of garage rock and punk. The band has been working with legends like The Damned, ? & the Mysterians, Dr. Feelgood and others, and tracks like 'Célaphine' play these influences and bring their own unique blues brand to the table. The album contains songwriting contributions by JD McPherson and Jimmy Sutton and is the band's most coherent release to date.
