Originally released in 1999, this album has made a lasting impact on the music scene with its distinctive blend of rock, hip-hop and alternative sounds. Notable tracks include "Butterfly", a chart-topping hit, "Revolving Door", which is bursting with emotion, and "Toxic", which showcases lyrical prowess. "Come my lady / Come-Come my lady/ You're my butterfly, sugar baby"... If there was one song-track at the turn of the millennium, it was Crazy Town's "Butterfly", starting with its appearance on the 1999 album "The Gift of Game" and ending with its reign at number one in the charts in February 2001.

Featuring a sample of Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Pretty Little Ditty", the song defined the term "nu-metal power ballad" and was a rare love song for the genre to boot! But it's not just because of "Butterfly" that the album it's from has soared to such heights, selling over 2.5 million copies. "The Gift of Game" caused a sensation with its alternative metal noise, and the band's rappers - supported by guest appearances from KRS-One and Mad Lion - are clearly better than their rap/metal counterparts. And then there's the album art, designed by member Shifty Shellshock's father and uncle, which vividly depicts the fantasies of any teenager listening to "Lollipop Porn".

In short, this was a fucking huge record that somehow.... somehow!... has NEVER been released on vinyl. So how to deal with this momentous 25th anniversary debut? Well, for starters, we've created an inner sleeve with all the lyrics (and there are a lot of them). Our sources also tell us that the very explicit, hidden bonus track from the CD release mysteriously made it here. But as for the vinyl, we pressed the record in two different colors, one in "Red Devil Velvet" and the other in "Yellow Butterfly" vinyl. Come and dance with us and Crazy Town... twice!
