Chickenbone Slim is an original Blues - Americana touring artist from San Diego, CA. Signed to Vizztone Records in 2021, Chickenbone is gaining national and international attention with his unique roots sound. On Damn Good And Ready, Chickenbone Slim releases 12 original songs featuring the internationally acclaimed Laura Chavez on guitar, Marty Dodson on drums and bassist Justice Guevera.

Chickenbone Slim's 5th studio album was recorded at Greaseland Studios with producer Kid Anderssen during a week of bomb cyclone rains in Norcal 2023. Chickenbone Slim embodies the true Americana sound, blending blues and swing, rockabilly and roots rock.

The first single Rock and Roll Soul is a roots rock anthem and love song. With a driving beat and soli by lead guitarist Laura Chavez and a guest appearance by Eric Spaulding on saxophone, this song shows the energy and classic feel of Chickenbone Slim and The Biscuits.
