This release has become a milestone. It showed how the American streetcorner harmony sound (or doo-wop) can flourish in foreign countries. Several top-notch groups emerged in Germany, and the Chaperals even went to the US and triumphed there at vocal group conventions. The Chaperals are five young guys from northern Germany. They issued their first LP in 1990, and this was their first CD in 1992. Half of the 20 songs are a-cappella treatments of vocal group standards; the rest are German language harmony songs and a few originals. Guaranteed no band! Titles include Hello Everybody, Lucky Guy, Falling Leaves,
That's My Desire and Stuck On You.
