Soul singer Charles Bradley's star has been on the rise since the release of his acclaimed debut album No Time For Dreaming in 2011, and his rise has continued long after the release of his triumphant second album Victim of Love (2013). The singer, also known as The Screaming Eagle of Soul, presents his highly anticipated third album Changes. The album is named after his popular, smoldering (SPIN) cover of the Black Sabbath song.
Meanwhile, Charles Bradley's remarkable rise against all odds has been well documented: how he left behind a bleak life on the streets and struggled through a series of unsuitable jobs before finally being discovered by Gabriel Roth of Daptone. Charles Bradley has made a name for himself as a captivating live performer. He has performed his show at events and festivals around the globe, including Coachella, Glastonbury Festival and Primavera Sound. Bradley has also performed on famous stages, including the Apollo Theater - the same place he saw his idol James Brown perform when he was 14 years old - and the Beacon Theatre, where he has performed as support for the Tedeschi Trucks Band and the Afghan Whigs.
