In April the quartet around the charismatic singer Annie Leopardo finally played at the world's biggest rockabilly festival'Viva Las Vegas' - an honour that only very few German bands have received so far. But with'Crazy Love' the next longplayer is now introduced - 14 songs in the typical Booze Bombs style between meager Rockabilly and Rockin' Blues. A trademark sound that has earned the band a great reputation in the scene and distinguishes them from many of their fellow musicians.

Of course most of the songs are original compositions again, and the Black Shack Recordings-Studio was as close as ever. The few guest instruments like Blues Harp, Piano, Saxophone or Lapsteel Guitar are perfectly subordinate to the bone-dry arrangements, which put Pardo's powerful and variable voice in the middle. Their range becomes clear when Barbara Lynn's "You'll Loose A Good Thing" is interpreted as a wonderful rock'n'roll ballad.

The Booze Bombs again deliver, as one might expect, a highly energetic, exciting and atmospheric work. This band embodies the motto'No Bullshit' in perfection. A real Rockabilly highlight!
