The twelfth album 100% Awek without carbon emissions since it was produced near Toulouse. For the record, Awek had made his last CDs in the USA in only three or four days and with a lot of guests.

This time the 2 guests on 3 tracks are not put forward but subtly reinforce the uniique sound that has made the band's signature for more than 25 years. This is why this CD simply bears the name of the group 'Awek'.

the lockdown gave time for soul-searching, writing, rehearsing and recording. This project started in June 2020 anmd ended in December of the same year. If some songs evoke the pandemic, most are fortunetally less gloomy. It's a repertoire routed in the blues from the first to the last note that Awek develops thoughout the 15 tracks. We discover how rich Awek's style is and abounds in varied melodies, rhythms and tempos.
