More than fifty years ago, in the summer of 1967, one of the first British rock 'n' roll groups was formed in an old roadside café in Biggin Hill on the outskirts of South London ... This band was called “The Wild Angels”. The café in question was known as the bad boys' café and became one of the most famous meeting places for rockers and Teddy Boys in those days ... The unique Nightingale Café. In those early years of the mid-1960s, rock 'n' roll was the music of the day ... Real people made music that was exciting, lively, humorous and always absolutely irresistible. Nowadays, most music lacks these essential ingredients, but all is not lost, for they still exist, the real rock 'n' rollers who remind us of how it used to be and how it always will be. They continue to do what they have always done, which is to ignore current fashion trends and simply concentrate on making the best dance music ever. And that's exactly what the Wild Angels have done!

This album you now hold in your hands was first recorded more than three decades ago and is a good example of the group's performances at their many concerts throughout Europe all those years ago. All the tracks on this LP are rare ... This is because the master tapes were lost shortly after their first recording in 1987. They were then edited live at Brixton Park Studios, where they were digitally remastered especially for this vinyl release.
