Tony Joe White Blues Masters Live (LP, 180g, Gatefold Cover)

Swamp blues in its purest and most powerful form! Blues Masters Live captures Tony Joe White during a thrilling performance at the Blues Masters at the Crossroads event, recorded in October 2003 at the Blue Heaven Studios in Salina, Kansas. With his unmistakable gritty voice, signature Telecaster guitar and deeply rooted swamp blues sound, the legendary musician draws the audience straight into his musical world. The nine live recordings include outstanding performances of “Willie And Laura Mae Jones”, “Undercover Agent For The Blues”, “Steamy Windows”, “Even Trolls Love Rock And Roll” and, of course, his celebrated classic “Polk Salad Annie”. Special attention has been given to the sound quality: mastered directly from the original analogue tapes by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab. Pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Quality Record Pressings and housed in a premium gatefold sleeve. An exceptional live document for fans of Tony Joe White, blues and swamp rock!
