Whistle Bait, one of the most internationally renowned Finnish bands playing 1950s rock 'n' roll, will be celebrating their 40th anniversary in 2024. In addition to their own recordings and tours, Whistle Bait have had the privilege of working with many 1950s legends over the years, from Ronnie Dawson to Wanda Jackson. Whistle Bait's third album “Bait's Motel”, originally released in 2001, has now been carefully remastered and is being released on vinyl LP for the first time.
The skillfully produced and performed album features a wide range of 1950's and early 1960's rock'n'roll styles with a big sound. All songs are excellent melodic originals written by Vesa Haaja and all are flawlessly performed with good, solid vocals and great musicianship.
