Abi Wallenstein is an old acquaintance in our latitudes and yet every Abi Blues evening is unique. With his smoky blues voice, his guitar at the ready and his endearing, familiar way of presenting, he immediately casts a spell over the audience. He is often accompanied by friends of the blues, with whom he creates the evening as an inimitable experience. In this formation he plays with Marc Breitfelder (harmonica), Georg Schroeter (piano) and Martin Röttger (cajon), masters of their instruments, who were the first Europeans to win the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, USA, the world's largest blues music competition, and brought the award from the motherland of the blues to Europe for the first time.
