Freddy Velas & The Silvertones ... a unique Doo Wop group, the likes of which are few and far between ... the songs they play are inspired by the Italian/American "Doo Wop" tradition ... in just a few years they became a "rock'n'roll sensation" all over Europe, especially in Sweden, where they recorded their last album "Doo Wop Girls" on VINTJARN Records, with 8 original tracks, plus 5 covers dedicated to Jimmy Beaumont and The Skyliners and The Mystics... Later in December 2017, they were selected as the only European band to perform at "PBS My Music Doo Wop Generations" in Asbuty Park NJ.
