Although the 1993 film True Romance was directed by Tony Scott, it has all the characteristic themes and images of its author Quentin Tarantino, from the gruesome violence to the homages to B-movies and its cheerful amorality.

The same goes for the soundtrack: In addition to composer Hans Zimmer's riff on Carl Orff (which itself was an homage to another violent road movie, Badlands), True Romance featured a playlist that exuded a touch of Tarantino in its embrace of rockabilly (Charlie Sexton, Chris Isaak), grunge (Soundgarden), honky-tonk (Shelby Lynne) and romantic machismo (Robert Palmer's version of '[Love Is] The Tender Trap'). For this reissue, we've made a custom cover that features production stills from the film.

In addition, this release of True Romance comes in blue vinyl with magenta speckles of 'Alabama Worley'! Consider this colorful vinyl a tribute to one of the greatest cult classics of all time.
