These 16 tracks celebrate one of the greatest pedal steel guitarists of all time, Buddy Emmons. Many musicians, including four members of the exquisite Country Music Hall Of Fame and other current top stars of the genre dedicate this album to Buddy Emmons.

Willie Nelson sings 'Are You Sure', written with Emmons in 1962, while John Anderson presents 'Half A Mind' (by Ernest Tubb), a classic tune written with Emmons in 1958 and brought to pedal steel tuning and design. And also extensive liner notes, previously unpublished photos and track-by-track descriptions and insights into Emmons' revolutionary recording and touring career.

This CD was produced by Grammy-winning producer Steve Fishell, who has produced Emmylou Harris, The Mavericks, Eric Church, The Pistol Annies and Commander Cody, among others.
