Various Rock and Roll Senza Tregua in Italia (LP)

In October 1956, a movie called Rock Around The Clock is released in Italy.
The Italian title is Senza Tregua il Rock'n'Roll: it is the beginning of the Italian Rock'n'Roll era, at least on records and in movies.
Before that, swing music was widespread and played in small bars in the cities. In 1955, for example, Fred Buscaglione recorded the first version of his hit Teresa non sparare and released it on a 78 single, and records like this, with a jazzy uptempo rhythm, were the start of a musical revolution that began the following year.
While researching Italian records from the '50s, I came across a 7" EP by Quartetto Fineschi, simply titled "Rock and Roll": on the discontinued groove, the date is "23-9-1956." It was recorded in September, a month before the film was released in Italy.
To be honest, I'm not sure if this is the first rock and roll record released in Italy by an Italian band, but apart from the most famous early rock singers (Celentano, Mina, Little Tony), this was a real discovery for me, and it had an incredible beat! I then decided to go in search of rock and roll records that were released here in the 50's and early 60's: What you find on this El Toro output are some of the weirdest and catchiest rock'n'roll records I've ever heard, and they certainly add some unknown tunes to early Italian rock history."
