various If There's Hell Below (Transparent Red Vinyl) (LP)

Various Artists – If There’s Hell Below is a 13-track Numero Group compilation collecting forgotten recordings from the African American underground of the 1970s. Musically, the selection moves between psychedelic rock, funk and soul, with fuzzed-out guitars, wah-wah effects and deep grooves at its core. The artists include Three Days Ahead LPF with Rolling Love [Part 2], Little Ed & The Soundmasters Band with It’s A Dream, The Basement with Funky Music (Messin' With My Mind), Directory with World And Creation, Stone Coal White with You Know and Creations Unlimited with Chrystal Illusion. Further contributions come from Solid Gold feat. Alexander Love, Iron Force, Sir Stanley, Flying Wedge, Muse, Iron Knowledge and The Young Senators. The LP was released by Numero Group as Clear Red Vinyl.
