The album contains an intimate collection of traditional gospel hymns and is the spiritual counterpart to the Christmas album My Gift: "These two albums have been on my musical bucket list since the beginning of my career and were planned long before the events of last year, but somehow it feels like the perfect time to share these songs with the world," says Underwood.

Grammy Award winner David Garcia is involved as co-producer and previously worked on Carrie Underwood's platinum-selling album Cry Pretty.
