Sing And Play Authentic Blue Grass is the fifth release from the Truffle Valley Boys and the third to be produced in collaboration with the good people at Tenbrooks Records.
This brand new 10" LP features a carefully chosen selection of twelve obscure tracks from the early days of Blue Grass music, including some never before released by their writers, as well as an original composition.
Recorded live to tape using a single Altec microphone from the 1950s, the recordings are a throwback to a time when records were a snapshot in time. The producer's aim was not to achieve absolute perfection, but rather to capture the true power of the musical performance as faithfully as possible in all its raw beauty.
