After Robin Trower's departure from Procol Harum, he embarked on a remarkable solo career with the help of James Dewar (vocals and bass) and Conrad Isadore (drums).

Robin Trower's first album was produced by former Procol bandmate Matthew Fisher, and the album unleashed the full power of Trower's incredible guitar playing. The Fender Stratocaster was his weapon of choice and the sheer fury with which Robin attacked uptempo rock and blues was astonishing, considering that these elements of his playing had only been hinted at in his previous band. The contrast was the subtlety and pure lyricism expressed on less aggressive material like "Daydream," an FM radio classic of the time.

This is the album that paved the way to "Bridge Of Sighs" and superstardom.

This new deluxe version is housed in a gatefold sleeve and has been remastered in 2023. It contains 3 unreleased versions of album tracks, the B-side of the "Man Of The World" single (Take A Fast Train) and 4 BBC John Peel sessions.
