To say that The Sinseers play oldies would be wrong. The group, led by East L.A. bandleader Joey Quiniones, has been quietly chipping away at R&B and soul for the past half-decade, continually creating a distinctive vibe that explores all aspects of these timeless genres and brings their interpretation together through a modern lens.

The album's stunning tracks were recorded in a remodeled studio in Rialto, California known as Second Hand Sounds, allowing the group to stay true to their sonic aesthetic while exuding their very own vibrant 21st century cool.

The Sinseers skillfully switch back and forth between '60s pop, early Beatles records and obscure Jamaican dancehall tunes - all fully extrapolated and reinterpreted through the modern Chicano soul sound on which the group has built their repertoire. Their melting pot of ideas is presented with incredibly lush orchestrations and arrangements, paired with perfect harmonies that allow the group to anchor themselves deeper into the pantheon of the Southern California songbook.
