Rusty Stone is one of the legends of the Munich blues scene. He has been active since the late 80s, especially with his band The Case, and has played many concerts and released CDs. Farewell is after Live & Alone from 2009 again a solo album

With Bottleneck, Dobro, acoustic guitar and mandolin, Farewell is an album with which he bids farewell to some of his contemporaries, fellow musicians and friends.

To honour them he plays himself skilfully and soulfully through a colourful repertoire consisting of his own songs like Rough Times or November Days and well-known classics like Sympathy for the Devil, Soul of a Man, Goodnight Irene and many more.
