Steve Lukather's ninth solo album, titled BRIDGES, could not be more aptly titled. It is a bridge between his solo music and his music with TOTO. Most of the album was even recorded with former TOTO bandmates, Joseph Williams and David Paich, and other people from the TOTO gang were brought in to play along as well. According to Lukather, this album is as close to an original TOTO-style album as they will ever get, as they will never record another studio album as an official band.
