It's been just three years since guitarist Big John Talley and vocalist Starlett Boswell met by chance and formed their band Starlett & Big John, but in that relatively short time they've already received praise from all corners of the bluegrass community. Their first Rebel single, "Straight 58," was played to great acclaim, including regular airplay on Sirius XM's Bluegrass Junction, and landed on the playlists of numerous DJs. With the release of their album "Living In The South," the success will undoubtedly continue! Featuring an impressive selection of original songs written by Starlett and Big John, as well as well-chosen covers, Living In The South highlights Starlett's powerful vocals and her range. Big John has a voice tailor-made for singing bluegrass, and he takes the lead on two songs while harmonizing perfectly with Starlett on the others. They are supported by David Carroll on banjo, Johnathan Dillon on mandolin and Ron Stewart - who also produced and recorded the project - on fiddle.
