In the last 4 years since our last studio album, we've experienced a huge change in our career that has honestly felt like a huge change in the weather. It has felt like a “northerly” storm front that we have been trying to persevere through. As a band, it took us about 10 years of touring the US a lot before we could take a big “break”; and we hope that these 13 tracks are a perfect culmination of what makes up our unique sound. The entire album was recorded over a period of about 8 months, with only 2-3 days off between shows and traveling. We hope the sound is big enough to blend genres while staying true to the sounds that our first fans keep coming back for. From honest singer-songwriter ballads to powerful folk and Celtic rock instrumentation; we hope there's something for everyone. We are Shane Smith & The Saints from Austin, TX and this is our brand new album “Norther”.
