Die 4-köpfige Band Black Kat Boppers spielt Rockin' Roots-Musik mit Gitarre, Kontrabass und Stand-Up Drums. Black Kat Boppers kommen aus South Coast Water Way in Southampton, UK und sind 4 Kerle, die spielerisch die harte Variante lieben, Rockin' Blues zum Tanzen.

Band-Geschichte

Black Kat Boppers bildete sich im Dezember 2009 nach einigen zufälligen Treffen, vielen Telefonaten und ein wenig Schicksal. Eine gemeinsame Liebe zur Rockmusik war klar und sie haben seitdem nicht mehr zurückgeblickt. Es gab triumphale Auftritte in Glastonbury, Port Eliot, Bestival & Hyde Park (mit Blur & The Specials). Sie haben Notting Hill Carnival, Rockabilly Rave & Latitude gerockt, ganz zu schweigen von einem unvergesslichen Set mit Florence and The Machine auf Bob Geldofs 60-Jahr-Feier. Sie wurden von Damon Albarn auf der Bühne begleitet, arbeiten mit ihm im Studio und haben regelmäßig Clash-Legende Paul Simonon mit der Band spielen lassen. Paul Simonon, der ihnen eine große Hilfe war, ist auch auf ihrem Debütalbum "Boppin' Atcha" dabei und hat das Cover-Artwork gemacht. Das Album wurde im September 2013 auf Foot Tapping Records veröffentlicht.

Überall scheinen die Leute es zu lieben - jung, alt, dumm, klug, Hippies, Punks, Studenten, Aussteiger, Mütter, Väter, Ärzte, Verrückte, Raver, Stripper, Rocker, Mods.... Alle lieben diesen rohen Sound!
