Even at that time, Elvis was an exceptional musical talent, and his performances in music class with titles like Old Shep or Cold Icy Fingers were downright stunning for teachers and classmates. Elvis and GK became friends long before Elvis became one of the most important representatives of 20th century rock and pop culture. And even after Elvis had become the world's most successful solo artist, selling about a billion records, they stayed in constant contact.
