In honor of the 45th anniversary of the death of the King of Rock'n'Roll, a new edition of albums with only alternative tracks will be released in 2022. Directed by Jean-Marie Pouzenc, president of the fan club "Elvis My Happiness", this collection has been completely remastered and pressed on vinyl replica CD.

The release of the vinyl album "Elvis in Paris" in 2019 marks the 60th anniversary of Elvis' visit to the French capital in 1959. Elvis arrived at a time when the French discovered two albums: "King Creole" (released in late 1958 and quickly re-released in 1959) and "Elvis' Gold Records, Volume 2", which contained tracks that were awarded multiple gold and platinum. In France, this resulted in singles and "Super 45" discs that added to the great fame Elvis already enjoyed in France.

The impact of these songs was so great that almost all of them were edited and released in French. Here you will find, mostly in the form of alternate takes, the tracks that appeared on this vinyl album, accompanied as a bonus by three songs of French origin and excerpts from press conferences by Elvis; and as an added bonus, there are ten new alternate takes from this period. French fans have never forgotten that Paris was the only European capital Elvis visited.... and three times at that!

 

 

This TV special included the first ever unplugged session presented together with musicians from the early days such as Scotty Moore and D.J. Fontana. 1973 saw THE TV mega event at all: Elvis Presley, 'Aloha From Hawaii via Satellite'! Elvis' Honolulu appearance, the first time that a show was broadcasted worldwide via satellite!
