Ben Poole: Post-Midnight Behaviour (LP)

Ben Poole returns with Post-Midnight Behaviour, his first studio album of new material in eight years. The British guitarist, singer and songwriter expands on his blues-rock foundations with elements of soul, country and alternative rock. Subtle grooves, memorable hooks and expressive guitar work meet a more laid-back and reflective atmosphere. The album captures an artist developing his sound while retaining the distinctive combination of vocals, songwriting and guitar playing that defines his music. The record was produced by Wayne Proctor, Oli Brown and Ben Poole. Its ten tracks are No Second Chances, Empty, Time Has No Mercy, Living On Repeat (Buried In The Background), Summer Haze, Runaway Souls, Searching, Nothing To You, Start Of The End and Runaway Souls (Radio Version). Elles Bailey and Oli Brown feature on Runaway Souls. Released by Gypsy Soul Records on LP, Post-Midnight Behaviour is an appealing choice for listeners who enjoy contemporary blues rock enriched with soul, country and alternative influences.
