An informative and in-depth 8,000-word essay by renowned British author Charles Waring, superb mastering by Nick Robbins, and first-rate artwork by Roger Williams make this box an overdue celebration of Esther Phillips' glorious artistry, especially in commemoration of her death in August 1984 at the age of 48.
