Buffalo Music Hall-of-Famer Patti Parks is a captivating live performer, with a soulful and sensual voice that shines with an uplifting, exuberant blend of Chicago blues, funk and Memphis soul.

After hearing Patti perform at the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge, famed American bluesman Kenny Neal signed her to his Booga Music label and brought her into his studio in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Neal sings a duet with Patti on the song "Baby Bee" and contributes harmonica and guitar, as he does on other songs on the varied album. Patti is not only a stirring blues performer, but also a nurse and the creator of the "Nurs' N Blues" education program she developed to help at-risk children in drug rehab centers.
