For her 60th birthday, she is fulfilling a very personal dream, her new CD “Carpe Diem”, probably the most personal album in her career to date. Open, honest - Nicole not only presents herself here as an outstanding singer, no, she creates songs that can be found in the border area between pop and singer-songwriter, songs with a real message and depth in which many people can find themselves without wagging their index finger or even wanting to lecture. Nicole is celebrating her 60th birthday this year and is continuing this trend. The album “Carpe Diem” can already be seen as a timeless classic. Many of the songs on the album were written by Nicole herself, such as “Wir sehn die Sonne” or the title track itself “Carpe Diem”, a tribute to life.

Heinz Rudolf Kunze, with whom Nicole has a long-standing, deep friendship “like links in a chain”, has also contributed a total of four songs to this magnificent album. The second single “Ich gratuliere mir” was also written by him, a song about Nicole's personal life from the perspective of a friend. The album was produced and recorded with her new live band. “Carpe Diem” - an album that pays tribute to an exceptional German artist in all her diversity on her 60th birthday, reflects her life experience and, above all, gives her courage in difficult times.
