The Neon Cowgirl, who towers over Broadway in Nashville like the patron saint of heartbreak, watched Tami Neilson grow up. Wide-eyed with joy, Tami walked into the Ryman Auditorium as a 16-year-old - and dreamed of taking her place on that stage ever since. After spending six months touring North America from coast to coast with her young family in a 12-meter motorhome, Tami returned to New Zealand to record a collection of songs inspired by her pilgrimage. This lovesick letter, written on four wheels over asphalt, became “Neon Cowgirl”.
