Released November 19 on APM Records, the new album from Mississippi MacDonald, the three-time Blues Award-nominated, London-based soul-blues stylist who has released six albums and met the likes of B.B. King and Pinetop Perkins, Otis Clay and Sam Moore on his musical journey, is an impressive piece of work.

Despite the blues name, McDonald is not from Mississippi, but from London, and all but one track is penned by him. He is joined by Phil Dearing (The Gillies, The Noun) on keyboards and guitar, Elliot Boughen (Soul Fixers) on bass, Mark Johnson-Brown on drums and Lucy Dearing (Cottonmouth Kings) on backing vocals.
