Della Mae collaborated with producer and banjoist Alison Brown on their latest project, “Magic Accident.” The result is an album that showcases a band at the peak of their abilities, drawing inspiration from a variety of roots music styles, including Americana-influenced songs reminiscent of the early Chicks, rousing bluegrass tunes, and dreamy indie-folk-inspired tracks. Della Mae's vocal strength, instrumental prowess, and songwriting skills are on full display on this album, which consists primarily of original compositions.
