Casey Jones & The Governors – Casey Jones & The Governors is a 30-track CD documenting the energetic sound of the British beat, rhythm & blues and rock’n’roll group led by Casey Jones. The band became particularly successful in Germany during the 1960s, where songs such as Don’t Ha Ha, Jack The Ripper, Yockomo and Candy Man became associated with their name. This Repertoire CD brings together a broad selection of recordings from the group’s repertoire. Among the featured titles are Yokomo, Casey’s New Hand Jive, Smoking The Blues, My Babe, Lucille, All You Wanna Do, Hall Of The Mountain King, Come On Everybody, Baby Why Did You Say Goodbye, Doctor Feel Good, All My Sorrows, You Got What It Takes, Beautiful Delilah and Guitar Boogie. The collection also includes further titles connected with the band’s Sixties repertoire, including Little Girl, Long Gone Train, Jack The Ripper and Don’t Ha Ha. With its combination of beat, blues, rock’n’roll and R&B, the CD offers a substantial look at the music that made Casey Jones & The Governors a notable part of the German Sixties scene.

Customer evaluation for "Casey Jones & The Governors (CD)"

From: Rocker Gerd On: 12 Sep 2017

sehr gut

keine Beschreibung aber alles was man habn muss

From: Harald Auringer On: 15 May 2016
