Sem Jansen & Leif de Leeuw From A Living Room (LP)

During the pandemic period, the demand for smaller gigs in an acoustic duo line-up grew. During these gigs, Leif and Sem developed their own duo sound with influences from Americana, country and folk. The response was so good that Sem and Leif decided to record an album together.

In 2023 they recorded this album in Sem's living room. They brought their very special (old) instruments, 4 microphones and lots of inspiration. The arrangements, the recordings, the production and many of the songs are their own. But they also recorded some of their favorite covers. The result can be heard on this record, played by Sem on guitar, mandolin and vocals and by Leif on guitar, pedal steel, lap steel, vocals, mandolin and bass guitar.
