(2015/Big Legal Mess) 10 tracks. Ironing Board Sam is an American blues keyboardist, singer and songwriter. His nickname he owes to the simple fact that he likes to be mounted keyboard for performances on an ironing board. His career began in the late 50s, he starred in a band with Jimi Hendrix. Recorded together with Jimbo Mathus, drummer Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees) and bassist Stu Cole (Squirrel Nut Zippers) Ironing Board Sam took sSingles of the 60s and 70s as inspiration for this recording. In addition, they sought out the repertoire of Ann Peebles, The Gories, Jimbo Mathus, Jack Oblivian and Roy Hawkins.
