CD #1 features the remaining members of the Hollywood Fats Band, plus guitarist Kirk Fletcher. Six new tracks with Kirk were recorded in 2006; the remaining sides featuring special guests like Kim Wilson or Junior Watson were recorded during the course of the last ten years. But more interesting is CD #2 with previously unreleased live recordings by the original Hollywood Fats Band. These recordings were circulating in the blues collector's scene. But here they can be heard in good quality thanks to the efforts of master engineer Joe Bellamy. This CD features the Hollywood Fats band and its own repertoire. The group can also be heard as back-up band for Ruth Brown and Eddie Vinson. This CD alone is worth the price of the entire set.
