The evaluation is based from 1.1. 1950 on the bestseller lists of the British music publishers ("Britains's Top Tunes") and from 22.11.1952 (first publication date) on the charts of the magazine NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS. The charts were first listed as "Top 20" (from 1.1.1950), then as "Top 25" (from 2.10.1954) and finally as "Top 30" (from 7.1.1956).
