Ghoultown: The Unforgotten: Rare And Un-Released (Limited Edition)(LP)

Ghoultown – The Unforgotten: Rare And Un-Released is a special collection from the Texas band Ghoultown, released by Wreckin’ Bones Records. The LP carries catalog number WBR050 and is limited to 250 numbered copies. It contains 13 recordings from 1999 to 2008, some of which had previously appeared only on EPs, compilations or soundtracks and some of which had gone out of print. The collection also includes demo recordings and three live tracks. The Unforgotten therefore offers a distinctive overview of different stages of Ghoultown’s history, from the band’s early years through the 2000s. Musically, Ghoultown combines a dark Western atmosphere with rock, cowpunk, psychobilly and horror influences. The recordings were properly mastered for this vinyl release, which also includes a substantial insert featuring lyrics and liner notes written by frontman Lyle.
