Dana Fuchs is currently one of the most admired blues rock stars in the world. Her mesmerizing voice and presence have already led critics to compare her to Janis Joplin, Otis Redding and Mick Jagger.

Born in New Jersey and raised in Wildwood, Florida, the singer-songwriter with a raspy voice steeped in blues, rock and soul first found inspiration in her parents' record collection from Ray Charles and Hank Williams. Kissed by the muse, Fuchs had no choice after graduating high school but to move to New York City, where she became a Broadway celebrity with her role in the Janis Joplin musical Love, Janis. Soon after, she was once again the star attraction in Julie Taymor's romantic musical drama, Across The Universe, which was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Picture.

With her current production, "Borrowed Time," Dana returns to her Southern Rock roots with a delightfully daring collection of her incredible songs and lyrics.
