The forerunner of the Four Seasons, the Four Lovers included Frankie Valli, Nick and Tommy DeVito, and Hank Majewski. When they were signed to RCA, they recorded vocal group classics, R&B hits and a couple of country songs. All of their singles flopped at the time and are now among the rarest and most sought-after singles from the era. Titles include Such A Night, Diddley Diddly Babe, Shake A Hand, Please Don't Leave Me, The Stranger, San Antonio Rose, Night Train, Lawdy Miss Clawdy, Jambalaya, Honey Love, and a rockabilly treatment of White Christmas.
