The Firebirds are Jim Plummer, Dan Plummer and Jason Bryant, three top notch musicians and singers who can cover the entire spectrum of 1950's and 1960's music, Commercial, Rockabilly, Harmonized Doo Wop, Instrumentals, Ballads and self-penned numbers.
The band has toured extensively at home and abroad and regularly plays at vacation homes, military establishments, etc. After their sold-out tour of Denmark, the Firebirds were invited to perform at the Messan Music Festival in the former capital of Yugoslavia and have since entertained passengers on four Mediterranean cruises.
To date, the band has released three singles and twelve albums. Their last five recordings in their own studio and on their own label 'Rockville Records' include a rock'n'roll special with Linda Gail Lewis, sister of 'The Killer' Jerry Lee, and two doo wop albums - the second with guest vocalist Den Hegarty of 'Darts' fame. All of our items and albums are also available worldwide on digital platforms such as iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.
In 2000, the band made its first trip to the U.S., performing in Memphis and Las Vegas, and in 2002 was honored to be invited back to the Carl Perkins Civic Centre in Jackson, Tennessee. This major event marked 50 years of the Sun record label and the 25th anniversary of Elvis' death.
The Firebirds played the Paris Music Festival and corporate events in Switzerland, Italy and Denmark. At home, the band entertained guests of the Priory Group, David Lloyd Leisure Company and the Royal College of GP's Annual Ball, among others.
This tour coincided with the release of their latest album, in which the band recreated the original sounds of the 50s and 60s with jukebox classics.
